Jack London. The Call of the Wild. New York: The Macmillan Company and London: Macmillan & Co., Ltd., 1903. First edition. Signed "Jack London / Nov. 10, 1905" on the half-title page. Octavo. With eleven full-page color plates, seven in blue functioning as chapter dividers, and numerous textual illustrations. Publisher's green cloth with gilt, white, red, and black stamping to the front cover and spine. Top edge gilt, other edges uncut. Illustrated endpapers. Noticeable rubbing to the cloth, heavier at the extremities. Minor soiling to the boards. Binding shaken, with both hinges cracked and holding by the mull cloth. An about very good copy of a classic adventure tale rarely encountered signed by London.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
