[5]-231, [232, blank], [2, publisher's catalog] pages. Illustrated by Philip R. Goodwin and Charles Livingston Bull. With eleven full-page color plates, seven in blue functioning as chapter dividers, and numerous textual illustrations. Publisher's green cloth with gilt, white, red, and black stamping to the front cover and spine. Top edge gilt, other edges uncut. Illustrated endpapers. Noticeable rubbing to the cloth, heavier at the extremities. Minor soiling to the boards. Binding shaken, with both hinges cracked and holding by the mull cloth. An about very good copy of a classic adventure tale rarely encountered signed by London.
