    Henry James. Travelling Companions. New York: Boni and Liveright, 1919. First edition. Octavo. 309 pages. Publisher's secondary binding of full green cloth, front board and spine lettered in gilt. In the very scarce original dust jacket. Price has been neatly excised from the jacket spine. Jacket spine toned, some edgewear and light chipping to jacket edges, gilt on cloth spine is tarnished, gilt on front board is smudged (most likely a binder's error). Cloth spine toned and bumped, text toned with some light intermittent foxing. Bookseller's ticket on rear pastedown. A good copy in the very rare dust jacket (the jacket is not mentioned in Edel and Laurence). From the collection of Donald Kaufmann.
