With Scarce First-Issue Jacket

Ernest Hemingway. The Sun Also Rises. New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1926. First edition, first issue. Octavo. [vi], 259 pages. Publisher's black cloth with printed gold paper labels affixed to spine and front board, in original first-issue dust jacket with misprint of "In Our Times" on front panel. Board edges lightly rubbed, corners softly bumped, light dust-soiling to top edge of text block, faint discoloration to endpapers. Jacket edges chipped and worn with some small closed tears, spine panel sunned, horizontal closed tear near heel, faint dampstain at rear joint fold, tape repairs to verso. A very nice copy in a just good jacket. Hanneman A6a.
