Ernest Hemingway. SIGNED/LIMITED. A Farewell to Arms. New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1929. First edition, limited to 510 copies, of which this is number seventy-six, and signed by the author. [x], 355 pages. Publisher's half-vellum over light blue paper boards, leather title label affixed to spine, lettered and decorated in gilt, in original glassine dust jacket and paper slipcase with printed red paper label number in manuscript affixed to front panel. Near fine with only minor edgewear, light soiling to top edge of text block. Glassine with chips and tears, as expected, with very little overall loss.
