    More Information: Ernest Hemingway. A Farewell to Arms. New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1929. First edition. Octavo. [2, blank], [viii], [1]-355, [3, blank] pages. Original black cloth, gold paper title labels on front board and spine, dust jacket. Light rubbing on boards and board edges, corners a bit abraded, faint soiling on front and rear boards, spine slightly leaning. Light toning on text block edges, bookplate on front pastedown and ink ownership signature on front free endpaper of "Geoffrey Mayo", lower text block corner a bit soiled. Dust jacket somewhat soiled, edges worn with a few chips, small tear on front flap crease; head and tail of spine panel restored and colored a slightly darker shade of blue, extending to front panel and with a partially inked "y" on rear panel; verso has tape repairs on corners of flap creases. A good, clean copy. Hanneman A8a.
