Edward Albee. Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? New York: Atheneum, 1962. First edition, association copy, inscribed by the author to actor and director Paul Bartel on the half-title: "by / Edward Albee / This copy signed for Paul Bartel." Octavo (8.25 x 5 inches; 210 x 125 mm.). [xii], 244, [1, blank], [1, about the author] pages. Publisher's black cloth, front board lettered in blind, spine lettered in gilt; top edge stained red; in original dust jacket. A few small areas of rubbing to boards; very minor rubbing to board edges; lower corners softly bumped. Dust jacket spine just a bit sunned; white background faintly tanned, particularly at the edges of the flaps; minor rubbing to edges; one small spot of soiling to front flap. Still, a near fine copy with an excellent association. Seacrest Collection.
