Publisher's green cloth, front board and spine lettered in gilt, front board ruled in blind, original dust jacket. Jacket spine barely sunned (brighter than usually seen), some rubbing, mild chipping, a few tears and edgewear to jacket, dampstain to upper edge of front jacket panel, one tape repair to jacket verso. Cloth spine lightly rolled, front board somewhat soiled at upper edge, front hinge repaired, previous owner's gift inscription on front free endpaper. Some foxing to edge of text block, minor soiling to endleaves. Still, a near fine copy in dust jacket. Burroughs' fourth novel. Zeuschner 485.
