Albuquerque: University of New Mexico, [1976]. [and:] Judy Stone. The Mystery of B. Traven. Los Altos: William Kaufmann, [1977]. [and:] Jonah Raskin. My Search for B. Traven. New York: Methuen, [1980]. All of these four titles are first editions in publisher's binding and dust jacket. Generally very good or better.

An interesting collection of eleven items related to Traven, one of the most enigmatic of twentieth-century authors. B. Traven (1882-1969) was the pseudonym of a German novelist, whose nationality, date of birth and much of his life story are open to debate. What is certain is that he lived for some time in Mexico, which was the setting of most of his books, including The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, originally published in 1927.
