    Larry McMurtry. Two Photocopied Screenplays Based on McMurtry's Novels. [Hollywood and] Studio City: [Various], 1968-1982. Final Screenplay draft of GID (based on Leaving Cheyenne), Revised Second Draft of Terms of Endearment. Two quarto volumes. 123; 149 pages, rectos only. Both screenplays three-hole punched, in wrappers, bound with two brad clips. Some wear to wrappers, ink notations to wrappers, ink titles to spines, some rubbing, occasional soiling to text. Still, near fine. From the collection of Donald Kaufmann.

    The screenplay of GID was adapted by Robert L. Joseph; the screenplay of Terms of Endearment was adapted by James L. Brooks. GID was released as Lovin' Molly in 1974, and the critically-acclaimed Terms of Endearment was released in 1983.
