First edition, first printing, with "wade" for "wabe" on page 21. Octavo. [xii], 224, [2, advertisement leaf], [2, printer's imprint leaf] pages. Publisher's full red cloth with gilt titles, rules, and decorative stamping. Noticeable rubbing and overall wear to the boards. Spine gilt somewhat dulled. Bookplate to front pastedown. Hinges a bit tender. Light thumb-soiling to text. A few corners creased. Overall, a very good copy of the first printing of Alice's second adventure.
