Publisher's binding and dust jacket. Dust jacket illustration by Paul Orban. Minor rubbing and toning, with bumping to extremities. Very good. From the collection of first fan, Jack Cordes.

    More Information:

    Wonderfully inscribed by del Rey to Cordes on the half-title page, "To Jack Cordes / With all best wishes from / one true fantasy fan to / another - / Lester del Rey".

    Minor rubbing to cloth extremities with light toning to edges and margins and with soft bumping to corners. Pages toned and a few with a trace of bumping to upper corners. Jacket shows some rubbing and wear to edges with light chipping to spine ends. A bit of fading along spine and a few small stains to rear panel. Overall very good. Author's first novel.
