    Le Comte Alexandre [Louis Joseph] de Laborde. Les Monumens de la France. Paris: P. Didot l'Ainé, 1816. Volume I only (of two volumes). First edition. Large folio. Approximately 22 x 15.75 inches. [6], iv, 94 pages, plus 116 engraved plates (sixteen of which are double-page) at the rear. Tissue guards. Bound by Krauss in nineteenth-century half brown calf over dark green cloth boards, spine paneled and lettered in gilt in compartments, six raised bands, plain blue endleaves. Some wear and minor soiling to binding, rear joint cracking, free endpapers creased, a few tissue guards loose, creased, or missing. Plates quite bright. Overall, very good.

    Two quarto volumes. [viii], [187], [1, blank], [8, ads]; [iv[, 624, [8, ads] pages. Capitaine Grant is a later printing of this edition(ads dated 1889). Captiaine Grant is rebacked in red morocco. Bindings worn, some leaves a bit loose, some soiling in text, text shaken. Fair.
