    L. Frank Baum. Glinda of Oz. Chicago: The Reilly & Lee Co., [1920]. First edition, first state. Quarto (8.9375 x 6.75 in; 227 x 169 mm.). [1]-279, [1, publisher's advertisement] pages. Frontispiece and eleven other inserted color plates, with decorated endpapers and in-text black-and-white illustrations, all by John R. Neill. Publisher's light brown cloth; spine stamped in black; full-size color pictorial label on front board. All edges stained yellow. First-edition dust jacket, with image reproducing cover label on front and back; spine lettered in pale blue; front flap featuring publisher's blurb; back flap lists Oz books, concluding with Glinda. Some light shelf wear to binding, normal slight loosening of hinges. Dust jacket chipped at spine, front and back flap fold; minimal and only spine chipping results in loss of text (upper part of "Glinda"); spine panel cracked along length with minimal loss of color and text. Faint vertical creasing on front and back with very minor shelf wear along edges. Flap folds lightly soiled with regular wear. Both flaps price-clipped top and bottom; front flap softly creased with minor soiling. Tape mends made to inside of dust jacket, leading to some slight discoloration not noticeable from recto. A nice copy in a serviceable dust jacket, about very good overall. Last of the Oz books written by Baum. Hanff & Greene, Bibliographia Oziana, XIV.
