    Large quarto. Approximately 13.25 x 8.25 inches. [xxxvi], [570] pages. Leaf e3 cancelled, as required. With inserted half-title/portrait frontispiece and engraved title-page inserted. With full-page woodcut of the royal crest, engraved portrait of Charles, Prince of Wales, woodcut ornamental head- and tailpieces and historiated initials. With front blank and two final blanks. Bound to style in modern full burgundy calf, covers triple-ruled in gilt, spine tooled in gilt in compartments, two black gilt morocco lettering labels, six raised bands, new marbled endleaves. Some mild toning, tiny worm damage to first blank and one tiny hole to first few leaves, neat contemporary ink notations on first rear blank, ownership signature of John Hawes at the bottom of the printed title-page, else fine. Housed in slipcase.
