Joseph Fievee. Correspondance Politique et Administrative, Commencee au mois de Mai 1814, et dediee a M. le Comte de Blacas D'Aulps. Paris: Le Normant, 1816.
Fifth edition. Signed on the title page by Charles Cotesworth Pinckney, who represented South Carolina at the Constitutional Convention, and later served briefly as ambassador to France. Parts Four, Five and Six. Octavo. 488 pages.

Brown wrappers over brown leather spine; gilt lettering on spine. Significant wear to board edges, corners, and along spine. Textblock bears occasional foxing and age toning throughout, but is quite nice, overall.

Joseph Fiévée was a journalist and publisher, a novelist, essayist, playwright, civil servant, and reportedly a secret agent, during the French Revolution. Here he has compiled political and administrative correspondence beginning with Napoleon's abdication to Elba in April 1814.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
