Family presentation copy, signed and inscribed by the author, "T. F. W. Crawhall-Wilson with Joseph Crawhall's best wishes. Septr. 17th, 1891" and autographed letter signed, laid in. 12mo in sixes. 131 pages. Profusely illustrated with woodcuts by the author. Pictorial grey paper over boards stamped in black and red to upper cover, lower cover with full monochrome illustration, backed in beige cloth, spine lettered in black. Corners bumped, moderate edgewear, head and foot of spine pushed, somewhat rubbed. Foxed, edges toned. Very good.

    [Together with]: Chorographia. Newcastle-upon-Tyne: Andrew Reid, 1884. First edition, presumed deluxe large paper edition, probably about 300 copies printed. Small quarto in twos. Unpaginated. Profusely illustrated with woodcuts by the author. Original publisher's three- quarter vellum over gray paper boards, spine lettered in black. Moderate edgewear, somewhat rubbed and soiled. Bookplate to front pastedown, some offsetting. Internally generally clean and tight, top edge trimmed and stained red, other edges untrimmed; minor thumbsoiling, some offsetting, text block edges toned with minor wear.
