Signed on the colophon page by designer Hertzog, Cisneros, and John O. West, who provided an introductory essay. Inscribed on the front free endpaper by Cisneros. Signed again by Cisneros beneath his photograph on the verso of the title page. On the final page, facing the colophon, is the only colored illustration in the book; the previous owner, a good friend of Cisneros, has noted that Cisneros hand colored the image in August of 1991.
