Publisher's beige cloth with reddish brown wraparound line drawing, titles in reddish brown on spine, upper edge dark yellow, pictorial endpapers in original dust jacket with illustration by Elmer Hader, the $2.75 price and "First Edition" intact on front flap corners. Jacket spine slightly toned and rubbed, some rubbing and mild bumping to jacket extremities, cloth spine a bit toned, some minor rubbing to binding, very light thumbsoiling to the front free endpaper. Still, a near fine copy of this landmark novel.
