Publisher's full green cloth, front cover lettered in gilt, spine stamped in brown and lettered in gilt, all edges red. With original glassine wrapper and publisher's brown paper board slipcase. Loosely laid in is a "With the Compliments of The Viking Press" card signed by the editor-in-chief "Marshall A. Best". Spine lightly scuffed; partially erased pencil book dealer's marks on upper-right corner of front free endpaper; slipcase is scuffed and chipped, paper boards separating along open edge joints; else a book in near fine condition in a worn slipcase.
