Original hand-colored lithograph, plate LIII from the imperial folio edition of The Viviparous Quadrupeds of North America (New York:1845-1848). Measures 20 7/8 x 26 3/8 inches; 530 x 670 mm (visible) and matted and framed to an overall size of 27 ½ x 33 ½ inches; 699 x 851 mm. Slightly but attractively toned Some minor foxing and spotting, sheet a bit wrinkled, minor tears to bottom margin, not affecting image. Not examined out of frame. Very good. All proceeds to benefit educational programs at The Bryan Museum.
