    More Information:

John James Audubon (1785-1851), a Haitian-born Frenchman who spent most of his life in the United States, is, without question, the greatest and most influential painter of birds in the history of ornithological illustration. Likewise, the prints from Audubon's last work, The Viviparous Quadrupeds of North America (1845-1848), a study of mammals, are considered the finest of their kind published in America. Viviparous Quadrupeds was a 150 folio-plate undertaking by John James Audubon and his son, John Woodhouse Audubon. The work was published in both an imperial folio format by J. T. Bowen as well as an octavo edition by Lockwood & Co.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
