Publisher's smooth light blue cloth, spine and front board lettered in blue. Spine rounded with shallow ridge; backstrip very lightly dulled with some minor wear to lettering; corners and spine ends very lightly worn; lower corners softly bumped; faint spotting and discoloration. Endpapers foxed and bunching in hinges; rear hinge just starting; over-opened at start of gatherings D and G; marginal browning throughout textblock. A very good copy. Card signed by the author laid in. A Haycraft-Queen Cornerstone. Source material for the 1935 Alfred Hitchcock film of the same name. From the KoKo Collection.
