    More Information:

Ludolph (1624-1704) learned orientalist, learned the basics of Ethiopic from Bochart. His interest in Abyssinia led him to try to form a political alliance between that remote country and the powers of Europe. He travelled to England in 1683 to promote his scheme. In the end the Abyssinians themselves defeated his purpose.

This work, which is found in separate parts, hence three "Wing" numbers, is one of the first important scholarly works on Ethiopian language. The Grammar is complete but lacks the separate title page and preliminaries. Wing L3465, 3466, 3467. ESTC r35407. Zaunmüller 3. Gay 2593. Fumagalli 1186.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
