    Octavo. [xvi], 1-120 (page 115 misnumbered 114), 121-249 (hand-numbered with original folios overwritten), [20, Table of Sermons]; [xvi], 1-[192]; [193-194, divisional title for Miserie], 195-[272, with 200-272 misnumbered 300-372] pages. Engraved frontispiece and woodcut headings and endpieces.

    Later calf boards, recently rebacked in calf with the original covers laid down, and with gilt spine titles on a red leather label. New endpapers. Boards worn. Heavily annotated throughout in a contemporary hand. Scattered foxing, staining and toning to text. A good copy.

    With the title page for Burroughs' Three Treatises bound in the preliminaries of the first title here, but not containing the first title listed on that page, The rare level of Christian Contentment.
