Two volumes; octavo (7.75 x 4.375 inches; 195 x 110 mm.). xi, [1, blank], [1]-282; [ii], [1]-289, [3, blank] pages. Bound by Riviere in blue levant morocco, boards double-ruled and paneled in gilt, gilt floral cornerpieces, spine tooled and lettered in gilt in compartments, five raised bands, gilt board edges and turn-ins; top edges gilt, others trimmed; maroon endleaves. Some text leaves slightly smaller than others. Front board of Volume I detached, spines lightly sunned to green, front joint of Volume II starting; some rubbing to spine. Text lightly toned with occasional soiling; light wear to a few leaf edges. Very good. BAL 3833.
