Goodnight's career spanned the history of the development of West Texas, from Indian fighting to oil wells. Goodnight, while not the largest cattleman in Texas, was undoubtedly the most important.... Haley's beautifully written biography, perhaps his best book, is an ample vehicle for a mighty figure, and is a classic of American biography."
Condition: Very good in a fair dust jacket. Modest shelf wear to the boards. Light toning to the preliminary and terminal endpapers. Dust jacket with areas of loss, chipping and wrinkling.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.View More Testimonials
