Publisher's full black paper binding, front board decoratively stamped in silver and red, spine lettered in silver and red, first issue dust jacket (priced "13s. 6d."). Jacket spine toned, worn at edges, some rubbing and light soiling and toning to jacket panels, minor rubbing and very minor soiling to binding, bookseller's ticket on front pastedown. Still, a near fine copy of a book usually found quite used. Housed in clamshell case. Many collectors consider this title the best of the James Bond series written by Fleming. Biondi/Pickard pp. 43-44 From a private collection in North Carolina.
