Octavo (7.375 x 5 inches; 189 x 127 mm). 256 pages. Publisher's black cloth, spine lettered in silver, second-state with a 'Honeychile' silhouette stamped in dark reddish-brown on the front board; all edges trimmed; plain white endpapers. In original dust jacket designed by Pat Marriott. Spine just slightly askew; bottom corners and base of spine very softly bumped; trace rubbing to front board. Previous owner signature. Dust jacket bottom edge just a trifle rubbed; two faint bits of foxing to the rear panel and another to the front flap. Near fine. The sixth James Bond novel and source material for the first Bond film adaptation, released in 1962. Gilbert A6a (1.3). With a second copy in a later-issue jacket with the author's name in the white on the spine panel. From the KoKo Collection.
