In restored original first-issue dust jacket, lacking the overprinted Sunday Times review on the front flap. Front board mildly splayed; corners bumped; spine gently leaning. Dust jacket restored at spine ends edges of the folds; a small tear at lower portion of spine panel expertly repaired; several faint creases to front panel, as well as creasing around the front fold; rear panel mildly soiled; faint discoloration to front flap. Near fine in handsomely restored jacket. Gilbert A1a (1.1). Housed in a custom clam shell case. The first James bond novel.
