Edith Wharton. Ghosts. New York, London: D. Appleton-Century Company, Incorporated, 1937. First edition. First printing with "(1)" below last line of text on page 406. Octavo, pp. [i-vi] vii-xii [xiii-xiv] [1-2] 3-406, original blue cloth, front and spine panels stamped in gold. Neat signature of a great old-time collector of weird fiction on front free endpaper. Spine panel lettering a bit dull, some of the usual tanning to endpapers along gutter margins, a good to very good copy.
