Publisher's full black cloth, spine lettered in gilt, dust jacket. Jacket spine toned, some lighter toning to jacket, jacket with edgewear and mild chipping. Minor rubbing and faint soiling to binding, some offsetting to endleaves. Very good, with Smith's carte de visite laid-in. From the collection of Dr. Stuart David Schiff.
