    First edition. Octavo. [1, blank], 300, [1, blank] pages. Original brown cloth. Modest extremity wear, cloth wrinkling at lower corner of front cover and left of center on rear cover. Over-opened. Occasional light scattered foxing, mostly in margins with a few instances affecting text. Front blank leaf browned on edges. Inner hinge between title page and blank leaf verso starting at tail. Short tear on inner margin of each page, title page through p. 16. Very good.

    Contains Bierce's classic Civil War short story, "An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge".
