First edition. Twelvemo. xx, 292 pages. Frontispiece and five additional inserted, colored plates. Contemporary (publisher's?) burnt orange cloth; boards stamped in blind; spine stamped in gilt. Fore-edges deckled; all others trimmed. Cloth faded at spine and margins of boards; bottom edges worn through; spine ends frayed; corners bumped; joints worn and splitting, particularly from top, where backstrip is beginning to come free; small spots of dark soiling to both boards. Dust soiling to edges of text block. Occasional, mild areas of foxing, thumbsoiling throughout interior; faint offsetting opposite plates. Very good with a bright interior.
