Three octavo volumes. xxiv, [xxv], [1, blank], 482 pages; viii, [ix], [1, blank], [483]-892; [i-iv], [893]-1029, [1, blank] pages. Ten plates. Original dark green cloth, text block edges speckled. Front and rear boards somewhat stained and soiled, spines lettered in gilt, corners bumped. Text block edges very lightly toned, occasional soiling with thumbprints in margins, a few places in text over-opened. Volume I front board has open tear to cloth, hinges repaired in Volumes I and II, ink ownership signatures dated 1912, bookplates in Volumes I and II, glue remnants on rear pastedowns in Volumes I and II, Index volumes has text block edges worn and front hinge cracked with rear hinge starting. A good, bright set.
