Signed on the front free endpaper: "From / Evetts Haley / Midland, Texas". Also pencil signature "H. G. Bedford / Midland, Tex" on the title page but it's unknown if this is indeed the author's signature. Octavo. [1-6], 7-249 pages. With illustrations by the author. Original light blue cloth with titles stamped in black on the front board and spine; Indian shield and spears vignette stamped in brown on the front board.

    With chapters on Big Foot Wallace, Salt Creek Massacre, and Cynthia Ann Parker, among many others.

    Condition: Boards worn at the extremities; wear at the spine ends with two small areas of loss; front edge of boards lightly dented; light toning to contents, else very good.
