Original mauve publisher's cloth, upper and lower boards stamped in the center with publisher's circular device and wide-ruled, both in blind, spine lettered in gilt. Recased, corners bumped and rubbed with boards showing through, moderate edgewear, spine reinforced with several small repairs, partially sprung, sunned, dampstaining. Orange-brown endpapers; endpapers rubbed and soiled. Internally generally clean, all edges trimmed; hinges weak but holding at title page and last page of advertisements at rear, somewhat foxed chiefly to front and back of text block, minor thumbsoiling. Housed in green levant morocco pull-off, spine lettered in gilt with five false raised bands; spine sunned, minor wear and soiling. Very good.
