Publisher's red cloth, spines lettered in black; all text block edges trimmed; original illustrated dust jackets. Spine ends gently pushed, majority a bit dulled, some just starting to show a trace of wear; few specks of soiling to boards; some board edges dulled, bumped; minor wear along bottom edges. Text blocks faintly dulled with age, particularly along edges, which are occasionally smudged with some light dust-soiling along top edges; a couple of sets of endpapers a bit thumbsoiled; one label and one previous owner signature at front pastedowns. Jackets generally rubbed and soiled, heaviest at Roger Bennion and lightest at Four Winds, a couple lightly tanned; wear ranging from tiny amount of nicking to larger chips at spine panel ends, with a few splits and short tears starting from ends of panel folds; three spine panel ends reinforced with clear tape at verso; fairly mild edge wear to front and rear panels, with a handful of short tears (some with associated creasing); wear along flap folds, with a bit of nicking at ends; two jackets price-clipped. Mild to moderate uneven tanning at versos; tidemarks and foxing to verso of Roger Bennion. Near fine books in very good to near fine jackets.
