Henry Robert Addison. Recollections of an Irish Police Magistrate. London: Ward and Lock, 1862. First edition. Octavo. [306], [2, ads] pages. Publisher's original printed paper boards. It is possible that this copy has been recased. Spine toned, thumbsoiled and worn, joints worn and torn (yet still solid), boards worn and soiled. Text toned, with occasional thumbsoiling and foxing. Embossed stamp on front free endpaper. A few unobtrusive pencil or pen markings on endleaves. A few gutters overopened. Skewed. Still, a good copy in the rare original binding. Chemised in slipcase (two bookplates on chemise).
