    First edition of this impressive collection, one of seventy-five copies with four signed prints (one for each season) by Altman.

    Folio (approximately 22.5 x 15 inches). [ii] pages. With four signed lithographic prints laid in. Each page (text or print) has a folio paper protector. Tissue-guards for prints. Housed in publisher's large cloth clamshell case with printed paper labels on front and spine. With ribbon insert to lift out prints. Text and prints are bright and fine, clamshell case has some rubbing and soiling.

    Harold Altman (1924-2003) was a prolific artist, whose work was represented in nearly every major art collection in the world. He received numerous awards, grants, and fellowships, including two Guggenheim Fellowships, a Tamarind Lithography Fellowship, a National Institute of Arts and Letters Award, a Fulbright-Hayes Senior Research Fellowship, and a National Endowment for the Arts Grant.
