DescriptionH. Collinson Owen. The Adventures of Antoine. London: [circa 1919]. First edition. Inscribed by the author to fellow writer Percy Waxman. Octavo. , 311, [1, printer's statement] pages. Publisher's light gray-green cloth, spine and front lettered in black with decorative blind-stamping; all text block edges trimmed. Backstrip darkened; binding generally rather worn, particularly at spine ends and along joints and board edges; some minor, pale staining to boards; board edges and corners bumped, with cloth peeking through in a few places; top edges of boards faintly soiled. Evidence of label removed from front pastedown; rear hinge cracked but still sound. Text block softly dulled, particularly at edges; a few gutters overopened between gatherings throughout interior. Still, very good.
