Publisher's original orange cloth, front and spine stamped in black. Original illustrated dust jacket. All text block edges trimmed. Light shelf wear at extremities of binding; top edge somewhat darkened. Normal age toning to edges of text block; top edge dust-soiled. A bit of very faint thumbsoiling to first few leaves. Mild sunning, rubbing to exposed panels of jacket; slight wear along creases and edges, with minimal paper loss at spine and flap fold ends; handful of small, soft creases; a few short tears along edges of rear panel. Minor toning to verso. Near fine. With red leather book label of Florence and Edward Kaye affixed to front pastedown. A Haycraft Queen Cornerstone.
