George O. Smith. Venus Equilateral. Illustrations by Sol Levin. Philadelphia: The Prime Press, 1947. First edition. Signed by author and illustrator, and inscribed by the author to the publisher.

Signed by Smith and Levin on the front free endpaper. Inscribed by Smith on the title-page to James A. Williams, one of the publishers: "With the/very best of regards/to/Jim Williams/George O. Smith". Beneath this inscription, Levin has signed again. Octavo. 455, [1 ,blank] pages. Publisher's red cloth, spine lettered in black, original printed red dust jacket. Jacket spine a bit sunned and creased, some rubbing and wear to jacket with a few small chips and tears, tape repairs to jacket verso, binding slightly rubbed, a few early text pages mildly creased, page 11/12 has a short marginal tear at upper edge (not affecting text). Still, a very good copy of this rarity.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
