    Four volumes. Folio. Numerous color and black and white illustrations. Half blue morocco over marbled paper covered boards, six raised spine bands with gilt lettered leather title labels and gilt fleurons in compartments. Spines color faded. "The Age of Walnut" volume with minor loss to gilt fleurons. Gilt on top edges scuffed and lightly smudged. "The Age of Oak" volume with minor soiling to the fore-edge of the textblock. Pages with occasional minor smudges or foxing. Very good. From the collection of Donald Carter.
