    [Mickey Spillane]. Mickey Spillane "Mike Danger" Lot. In 1995 Tekno-Comix began publishing Spillane's Mike Danger stories, updating them and setting them in 2052. The project included Max Allan Collins, Eduardo Barreto, Steve Leialoha and illustrator, Frank Miller. The first issue was released in May, 1995. Mickey wrote "...Mike Danger, who was ready to hit the market just as WWII came along...had to suffer in silence for fifty years before hitting the big time again!"

    This lot includes some color copies of Tekno-Comix promotional material including a copy of the cover of issue #1, a press release announcing the debut of Mike Danger, two color-copies of the cover of Mike Danger Mystery Comics, and a copy of Bill Everett's book Golden Age Sub-Mariner, which contains a facsimile of Sub-Mariner No. 4, written, but not signed by Mickey Spillane. Also included is Mickey's own size large Tekno-Comix Mike Danger tee-shirt. All items in excellent condition. From the estate of Mickey Spillane.
