[Mickey Spillane]: Framed I, the Jury Pressbook. Circa 1953.

More Information: [Mickey Spillane]: I, the Jury Pressbook, Circa 1953. I, the Jury was the first of the Mike Hammer series to hit the screen. It was originally filmed in 3D, making it one of only three noirs to be so filmed. The film was directed by Harry Essex and produced by Victor Saville's Parklane Pictures and released through United Artists. It starred Biff Elliott as Mike Hammer and Margaret Sheridan as Velda. Spillane was not happy with Victor Saville's efforts at bringing Mike Hammer to the screen and pushed Saville to alter their contract to allow him to write original stories for the screen. In Spillane's archives is a May 2, 1956 letter from producer Robert Fellows states: "Here is the scoop - Saville did such a bad job, that there isn't the excitement there once was about the Spillane books. Un quote." The pressbook has been framed and matted under glass to an overall size of 17 x 23 inches and is in very good condition. From the estate of Mickey Spillane.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
