Hand-tooled lettering on rear flap reads: "Cooperstown, N.Y.". With attached Hand-tooled leather bookmark reading: "Here's Where I Fell Asleep". Twelvemo. Some sunning, rubbing and soling to extremities and interior flaps. Very good. [Together with:] George R. Cathcart. The Literary Reader. New York and Chicago: Ivison, Blakeman, Taylor, and Company, [1874]. Twelvemo. Quarter leather over paper boards, with spine lettered in gilt. Some sunning, rubbing, soiling, bumping and edgewear to extremities. Backstrip peeling. Front and rear hinges cracked. Good or better.
