Morgan's disappearance and supposed murder in 1826, while on the verge of disclosing the secrets of the Masons, prompted a strong backlash and the rise of the Anti-Masonic Party in the election of 1832. 6" x 9.5" with scattered areas of loss, tape repairs to cover, chipping and folds. Contents appear complete.
