Uniform contemporary brownish orange half-polished calf over cloth-covered boards; spines in six compartments with five raised bands tooled in gilt, compartments with elaborative decorative gilt stamping, two with gilt-lettered morocco labels; all edges gilt. Joints spine ends and corners lightly worn; Switzerland backstrip darkened; trace light wear to boards. Faint offsetting opposite plates; some volumes lightly foxed; bookplates. Generally near fine, Switzerland very good. From a Private Collection in St. Charles, IL.
