Publisher's patterned green cloth, decorated in blue and white, large printed paper spine label, matching jacket design, affixed to spine; top edge stained orange; in original dust jacket, with publisher's check list printed on the verso. Gentle spine lean; touch of wear to the bottom corners and the front joint. Dust jacket spine panel dulled with a crease down the center; edges lightly worn with a somewhat sizable chip to the crown; rear panel lightly toned with some mild soiling and a short closed tear to the bottom edge; three small stains to the bottom edge of the rear flap; diagonal crease to the rear flap. A near fine copy in a very good dust jacket. An uncommon and controversial book (banned for thirty years in the author's native Australia). From the KoKo Collection.
